  6. Our Solution: SmartNoms Recommends healthy dining options by utilizing the user’s location, preference, history, and social data. Features advanced search options for “power users” who need something a little more specific. Utilizes social features and a gamification system to encourage healthy eating.

Study Method Lo-Fi Prototyping Interactive Prototype 3 Participants (psychology, music education, criminology) Location: South Campus Diner Prototype: JQuery Mobile • 5 Participants (sociology, communication, biology, art history, government) • Location: McKeldin Library, Stamp Student Union • Prototype: Paper Methodology Participant introduced to project, goals, and prototype. Participant given three tasks to complete. Participant asked for overall feedback.
