  4. Absence of Drugs • Avoiding unnecessary medications throughout pregnancy and in labor • No drug has been proven safe for an unborn baby • Drugs confuse your body making delivery more difficult • Being alert and present for the birth of your child

  5. Proper Nutrition • Vital to grow and support a life • Good nutrition can minimize morning sickness, fatigue, and constipation. • Healthy diet helps mothers avoid pregnancy complications • Not the time to Binge or Diet

  7. Relaxation • The key to dealing with labor is your ability to relax. • Your body instinctively knows what to do. • It is when you become scared or tense, that you interfere with the natural process and pain increases.
