  3. JFCOM Mission The United States Joint Forces Command provides mission-ready joint-capable forces and supports the development and integration of joint, interagency, and multinational capabilities to meet the present and future operational needs of the joint force.

  5. Joint Warfighting Center Mission The Joint Warfighting Center conducts, supports, and assesses joint training and develops joint doctrine to prepare leaders to use emerging concepts and capabilities for joint, multi-national and interagency operations world-wide. UNCLASSIFIED

J7 Reserve Charter • Mission Statement – The Reserve Component of the Joint Warfighting Center provides mission-ready, joint capable reserve force members to augment current exercise and training development capacity and support capabilities at the Joint Warfighting Center (JWFC). • Mission Tenets – • Focus our energies to support the J7’s intention to meet all the combatant commander’s exercise and/or training requirements • Seamlessly integrate our services within current staffing at JWFC • Provide qualified and prepared joint exercise personnel • Leverage the JRD capabilities to support requirements at JWFC • Supporting Tasks – • Increase Reserve SME’s in the area of Joint and Irregular Warfare • Develop an efficient and effective Reserve Command/Organization • Establish Partnerships with Full Time Staff • Standardize Techniques, Tactics and Procedures for J7 Reserve Support activities UNCLASSIFIED

Operation Brimstone • The exercise served as a Joint Task Force Capable Headquarters sustainment event. • More than 15,000 service members from four countries participated in Joint Task Force Exercise (JTFEX) 08-4 "Operation Brimstone", July 21-31 in North Carolina and off the eastern U.S. coast from Virginia to Florida. Multinational Operations Military Transition Teams, MiTTs are responsible for training and advising the Iraqi Army (IA). • 98th Division (IT) assigned to MNSTC-I /MNC-I(2004-2005) • Australian Defence Force Teams • 80th Division (IT) assigned to MNC-I (2005-2006) The Eastern African Standby Brigade (EASBRIG) is set to conduct a Command Post exercise in Kenya in November. This was revealed yesterday by the Director of the EASBRIG Coordination Mechanism (EASBRICOM), Simon Mulongo.
