  1. Saudi Arabia Plans To Resume Its International Flights This Month

The GACA (General Authority of Civil Aviation) of Saudi Arabia had announced today (on 12th March 2021) that all the international flights to and from Saudi Arabia will be resuming on 17th May 2021 (5th Shawwal). All the international airports are going to open and will start operating normally on this day all across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia just like they used to do before the global pandemic.

The GACA (General Authority of Civil Aviation) had already announced on (Wednesday) and sent a circular to all the airlines as well operation in the country including Saudi Airlines which is the flagship carrier of the Kingdom. 11th March 2021 The earlier circular also contained the change of date as the previous date was different and the circular was to inform all the citizens that all of the airports are now opening.   4. The Details of the Circular! According to the latest circular by GACA (General Authority of Civil Aviation) the action will be taken on 17th May 2021 (5th Shawwal 1442) at right 1:00 am. In the earlier circular that was issued back on 12th January 2021, the General Authority of Civil Aviation stated that all the airports will reopen on 31st March 2021. But due to the changing needs and changing circumstances the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has decided to open the international airline borders and all the international airports two weeks earlier.

Air Travel The GACA (General Authority of Civil Aviation) has also stressed following important rules and regulations that are already in place. the necessary and All the precautionary measures and safety protocols are to be followed strictly in order to minimize and eliminate the chances of spreading the virus. Regardless of the Air Travel type and the airline the rules are to be followed by everyone.

The authority said that the rules about the countries on the restricted list are still the same and they are to be followedtill further notice.
