  1. 3 Small Business Activities that are Best Outsourced

  2. It can be hard to find the balance between what you must do yourself and what you need to delegate to others. In business, the issue is sometimes two-fold. Delegation is an issue, and so is whether to hire employees to take care of a task, do it yourself, or outsource the task. Some common tasks that are outsourced include cleaning, accounting, and payroll services. In an evolving business world, there are new tasks that should be added to the list.

  3. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) SEO is a way to ensure a company’s website is included in the results when a related topic is searched online. It all relates to Google's algorithms that determine which sites it yields in your results list, and where to place them based on relevance. Part of this algorithm involves scanning sites for certain keywords. This may seem to be a no brainer. You just use a bunch of keywords on your site, right? Nope. It isn’t that easy. The algorithms take many other things into consideration, and they change frequently. For example, fresh, useable content is necessary. In addition, keyword stuffing, or shoving keywords into content on the site whether they make sense or not, is not tolerated.

  4. Technology The changing tech scene is another area where it is often more profitable to outsource services. Technology changes almost daily with some new gadget or app being released. It takes constant training to stay on top of how to use and repair technology. Outsourcing someone to handle bugs and malfunctions is virtually a no brainer when all that it entails is considered.

  5. ContentMarketing • This is an area that many small businesses do not even realize exists. If you have a website, a blog, or both, you need content for potential customers to read. Most often, people land on your site looking for information. If you provide it, they are more likely to stick around and see what else you have to offer. Ideally, this converts to making a sale. • Even if you are an established expert in your product or service area, you must be a great writer to provide great content. It doesn’t matter how much information you have to offer if you cannot not write it in a way that is both engaging, useful, and grammatically correct. Outsourcing content marketing to a writer that specializes in writing fabulous content is often the best move.
