  2. Games and Puzzles as Brain Teasers Brain being the most important organ in a human body is the sole actor for whole of the operations of a human being every day. As far as the mental health is concerned there are a lot of activities to do nowadays also if you want to make your brain exercise and work in a more efficient way. As a lot of researches have shown that an exercising brain performs more than a lazy brain. And brain teasing in a combination means to make the brain do and perform such decisions which enable its sharpness in the end.

  3. Different forms of brain teasers There are different forms of brain teasers some of them include playing in-house and out-house games such as puzzles, chess, badminton, cricket and others. Whereas a new method introduced to the children in a past 2 decades is the playing of video games. Which is an in-house activity and it enables the children to sharpen their minds as well.

  4. Puzzle Puzzle is a form of a maze which requires an effort on the part of the solver to do it and solve it correctly. It also tests the ability of the solver. There are a number of types of puzzle which include jigsaw puzzles, transportation puzzles, cartoon puzzles and arithmetic puzzles as well. Puzzles can be short as well as large ones.

  5. Games Games also play a role in building the brain muscles and it includes indoor as well as outdoor games as well. Indoor games also include table tennis, badminton, chess which test the , mental responsiveness of the players and the outdoor games including cricket, football test the persons physical as well as mental capabilities. We can surely say that both the games and the puzzles play a vital role in developing the mental health of a human being.

  6. Brain activity and exercise Brain of a human being is a very complex body organ. It requires exercising like all other parts of the body. Brain exercise can be done only through putting it to use. Puzzles and games push any player to think and analyze the situations countered during the moves of the game, and this forced analysis creates a certain level of brain activity depending on the difficulty level of the game and the its mechanics. Putting the brain to use and pushing it beyond its normal function increases brain activity and allows a greater part of the brain to work out.

  7. Thinking logically and qualitatively Usual human beings use only three to four percent of their brain but putting your thinking ability to test through harder situations and moves allows a higher percentage of the brain to become active and respond according to the need. The relation between the optional moves and the selected moves in a game pushes the human brain to calculate and analyze more, consider a larger number of dimensions in which the game can go, and hence think more logically and quantitatively. The number of options or moves increases calculations done by the brain, pushing it quantitatively and analysis of the outcomes of the moves enables it to go to higher levels in terms of logic.

  8. Keeping your brain alive If you don’t move a body organ for some time, it gets paralyzed. Similarly, the human brain cannot become more activated if it is not pushed to think more logically. We come across people who have a limit to their thinking and understanding ability, reaching which they become blank and their brain does not respond to the push they try to implement on it. This is because they never put their brain to use up to a higher logical level and their brain activity stops after a certain point. Games and puzzles allow the human brain to stay alive, exercise and grow, thereby changing the activity level and responsiveness of a person’s brain.
