  4. Varsity Football Playoff Varsity Football vs Calexico at Patrick Henry High School, Friday November 15th, 7:00pm Note: Varsity Football will be at Patrick Henry 6702 Wandermere Dr, San Diego, CA 92120

  5. Multicultural Food Faire November 15, 2013 • Each ticket =.50 • Food tickets will be sold in front of the library and the cafeteria during lunch. • Tickets will be sold beginning Friday, November 15 at 7:30 am the Financial Office. Back Quad Extended Lunch Schedule 11:37 am – 12:22 pm

Congratulation Cross Country Runners in the City League Championships Tuesday at Morley Field Girls’ and Boys’ varsity teams both finished 2nd to San Diego High, the boys losing a close race by just 2 points 27-29. • The following runners earned All-League honors by finishing in the Top 10 in their race: • Boys’ Varsity: Awal Hussen, Mulageta Endgaw, Cristobal Navarrette, Sawiros Haile, Sami Teklay, and Kaleb Arriero • Girls’ Varsity: Anadela Navarrette, Mirella Cruz, and Diana Vergara Good luck to the Hoover boys’ and girls’ varsity teams who will compete in the CIF Division II Championship meets at Morley Field in Balboa Park on Saturday November 23. Boys race at 9, girls at 10. --Coach Hoskisson

The HOOVER WRESTLING TEAM begins official practice this Saturday 11/16 at 9 am • Meet in the wrestling room (Big Gym under the upper bleachers). • ALL STUDENTS interested in JOINING are welcome and should come in shorts and t-shirt. • We still need motivated athletes of all shapes, size and gender. Come out with your friends, get in shape, travel to competitions and see if you have what it takes.   --Coach Hoskisson

  21. Detention This Week • Detention will be held every day after school in Room 405/Computer Lab.  • Please tell students to enter through the outside door, not the Library.  • Detention starts at 2:30 and ends at 3:30.  • Students must be ON TIME to receive detention credit. 

  22. Get off of the LOP! Start 2014 off right and get off of the LOP!!! • We will only have three more Saturday School opportunities before Holiday Break! November 16 December 7 December 14 • Meet in the front quad at 8:00 am

  23. November 16th, 2013 8:00am-12:00pm. Come and clear your detentions and get off the LOP list. Students will meet no later than 8am in the front quad where they will be assigned a classroom for the four hours. Saturday School this Saturday Students must stay in Saturday School for the entire four hours to receive credit.
