Wednesday, March 19, 2014 Rhode Island State House Governor’s State Room, 2nd floor Greetings from the State by RI Governor Lincoln Chafee! Lt. Governor Elizabeth Roberts has been invited. * Meet with a panel of current legislators to discuss current issues * Become informed about Rhode Island legislation * A short direct lobbying opportunity will be available immediately following the program * NASW–RI will provide a brief Advocacy Tour of the State House at 3:30 for those participants who are interested. Great Opportunities for Social Work Students! Parking is limited! You may park at the metered parking on Smith St. or adjacent streets. Parking at the Providence Place Mall is $2 for up to 5 hours. To enter the State House, you must go through the Smith St. entrance and go through a metal detector scan. Seating will be limited.
