  1. CAPITALISATION PLAN Avignon,17 – 18ofMay2011

OBJECTIVES: • AGROENVIRONMED project aims to realize a long-lasting Med Agro-food Platform that will act as a techno-environmental cluster, helping the dissemination of eco-innovative technologies and know-how and improving the competitiveness of the sector. • The Techno Environmental Platform TEP will be an operational tool running in an interactive web area fostering the transfer of available environmental technologies and best practices among the relevant stakeholders with the aim of reducing the environmental impact of the agro-food companies and increasing their competitiveness. • The Capitalisation Plan will identify the strategy to ensure exploitaton and sustainability of the Platform beyond project’s execution through the website, allowing communication among all members of the platform, in synergies with other European and INTERREG projects and other interested actors in Med area.

TEP's SERVICES: • Networking and communication among stakeholders at regional and interregional level. • Database of eco-innovation technologies and best practices reducing the environmental impact – BATs and BEPs. • Advisoring to agro-food SMEs. BENFICIARIES: • Agro-food SMEs • Tech providers • Knowledge providers (universities, research centers, S&T parks) • Policy makers

CAPITALISATION ACTIONS: • Tools updating (website and other communicaion, TEP and databases). • Exchange of experiences with other projects, networks and platforms. • Platform expansion (new sectors, members and Countries- Meiterranean not EU). • Funds raising. LEVELS: • Basic – Partners' resources for 1 year more. • Advanced – New funds' subventions for 3 years more.

TOOLS UPDATING (1 of 3): BASIC LEVEL (1 year) • Communication • Web site management (IAT). • Articles and newsletter (IAT – feedbacks from all): 2/3 technical articles 2/3 newsletters . • Liasons with Regional and National Authorities (all). • TEP (ARTI) • SMEs' updating (sub-sectors) • BATs and BEPs databases updating • Questionnaires of satisfaction • Capitalisation management and monitoring (STPS) • Plan coordination and up-dating (STPS) • Liaison with JTS and MA (IAT) • Partners internal communication (IAT): • Intranet • 2 web conferences

TOOLS UPDATING (2 of 3): ADVANCED LEVEL (3 years) • Communication • Web site management and improvement (IAT). • Articles and newsletters of old and new sub-sectors (IAT – feedbacks from all): 2/3 technical articles per year 2/3 newsletters per year. • Regional Contact Points (all). • TEP (ARTI) • Expansion • New sub-sectors • New parnters WGs • New regional sub-sectors characterization • Up-dating of the Mediterranean Agrofood technological characterization • Up-dating of BATs and BEPs of new subsectors • Up-dating of prospective technological studies (ZRBistra)

TOOLS UPDATING (3 of 3): ADVANCED LEVEL • Capitalisation management and monitoring (STPS) • EGTC constitution • International body recognized by the EU with the task of facilitating and enhancing territorial cooperation in specific field “Eco-innovation zero impacts in agro-food SMEs”. • Technical and scientific committees • Plus steering committee and WGs

TEP EXPANSION: BASIC LEVEL • Analysis of expansion (deliverable) including: • Other existing platform • More functional models • More themes and sub-sectors • Integration of other tools • Exploration of Not EU Mediterranean Members ADVANCED LEVEL • New TEP implemenation • New functional models • New themes and sub-sectors • Integration of other tools • Social network • Involvement of Not EU Mediterranean Members

FUND RAISING: BASIC LEVEL • Liaisons with Regional and National authorities. • Participation in call for project proposals and/or programmes • Hypothesis of associations or foundations. • Private company investigation. • Plan for the establishment of the EGTC. ADVANCED LEVEL • Liaisons with MED partnerships interested to capitalize activities • Request to the JTS/MA to provide funds for capitalization plans • Liaison with other European and International organizations • Constitution of the EGTC
