He has been the Deputy Managing Director-Projects for Petrochemical Industry Company (PIC), managing projects exceeding a value of US. $ 5 billions. Career History: His professional career started with petrochemical industries company as maintenance engineer, then moved up the technical, commercial & managerial ranks to become the executive vice president commercial of EQUATE petrochemical company for 6 years then deputy managing director of projects, petrochemical industries company from 2001 till his retirement in 2007. During his career he was extensively involved in Joint Venture arrangements. He has been a key member for defining the objectives and criteria for selection of the Joint Venture partners during his assignments. He has been a Board member & chairman of a number of companies including Equate Petrochemical Company, Kuwait Olefins Company, Equipolymers B.V. (Holland, Zurich, Italy) and EQUATE Marketing Company. Currently he is a board chairman of CGI ( CDI Gulf International ) , a board member of Emtiaz Engineering & Energy , and a board member of Kuwait Foreign Exploration Company ( KUFPEC )
