April , 2010 ITC Update ITC approval for three funding programs Student Computing Advisory Committee (SCAC) Faculty Upgrade Program (HETI) E-Classroom UIT Data Management Project Proposal (Joe Taylor) Project will focus on treating institutional data as an asset Policy changes for data management Development of an campus Data Dictionary Address data quality and access issues. Initial deliverables are: Create a Data Dictionary for ORGIDs Create a roadmap of the project for ITC oversight Migration of the UUHSC SSID to UConnect (Brent Elieson) Will address the “ubiquity” problem for the UUHSC SSID Authentication will be AD based and allow for single-signon for laptop users Users will authenticate as unid@dept.utah.edu and be routed to department controlled vlans Policy changes for data management Development of an campus Data Dictionary Address data quality and access issues.
