  6. Attend morning service Time to chat over breakfast Visit local beauty spot Maybe walk in the Park Sunday Before students depart after lunch

  7. Where do they come from? Why do they want to go on a HOST visit? Who are the students? Young people who could be thousands of mile from home. Many are in their 20’s and 30’s

  8. Receive student applications and despatch them to Regional Organisers Work with Universities Publicise the scheme Deal with Administration HOSTuk HOST has a London office staffed by a small team, lead by a Chief Executive Officer, who:

  11. Time away from University Life Eat home cooked food Learn about British traditions and culture Share family stories Become part of a family for at least a weekend How do the students benefit from a host weekend?

  12. Why do hosts host? To enjoy the company of people from other cultures To return the hospitality given to them when far from home To give a welcome to students far from home and missing family life

  13. A host’s minimum commitment is…. to welcome one student for 1 weekend in a year This is always by agreement between host and Regional Organiser ….but we hope that you can offer more than one weekend Commitment
