  2. OBJECTIVES Each Lesson you write in PE will contain these 3 OBJECTIVES: • 1. COGNITIVE: Thinking, Understanding, Processing, • 2. AFFECTIVE: Enjoying, Fun, Etiquette, Sportsmanship • 3. PSYCHOMOTOR: Doing, Participating, Demonstrating

  3. OBJECTIVES LESSON PLAN 3 OBJECTIVES: (1.Psycho, 2.Cognitive, 3. Affective) MUST contain 3 parts: 1. CONDITION: 2. PERFORMANCE: 3. EVALUATION:

  4. OBJECTIVES CONDITION: How? Under what circumstances will the learning occur? What will the student be given or already be expected to know to accomplish the learning?

  5. OBJECTIVES PERFORMANCE: What? What do you expect them to be able to do? What is the observable behavior.

  6. OBJECTIVES EVALUATION: How much? Must set specific criteria to be successful. Do you want total mastery (100%), do you want them to respond correctly 80% of the time, etc. This needs to be logical!

  7. UNIT PLAN OBJECTIVES Objectives are written as ONE LONG SENTENCE!!!!!!!! CONDITION: At the end of the UNIT on [TENNIS], the student should be able to

UNIT OBJ: Putting it all together At the end of the UNIT on TENNIS, the students should be able to demonstrate all the SKILLS, RULES, STRATEGIES, and ETIQUETTE within a match of TENNIS, and be evaluated by the teacher in class during match/game play Question: IS THIS OBJECTIVE PSYCHOMOTOR, COGNITIVE, AFFECTIVE?

CAN YOU ALTER THE OBJECTIVE? IS THE EVALUATION FORMAL or INFORMAL? CAN YOU CHANGE THE EVALUATION TO MAKE IT FORMAL OR INFORMAL?
