    Course Curricula View Expanded Catalogue View Learning events are organized into curricula that keep related subjects together. The curricula are organized by subject-matter, represented by a folder icons that contain additional sub-categories or the actual learning events. As you select a category, the contents of the selected item are displayed in the catalog. To view the contents of the catalog, click through the catalog hierarchy. A breadcrumb trail at the top of the course information panel will show you where you are. You can also click the View Expanded Catalog link to see the entire catalog, however, this may take some time to display, depending on the amount of content you have access to To access a learning event, click the hyperlink title text next to the icon. Learning events are organized into curricula that keep related subjects together.     Click this button to take a course live over the web. This will immediately launch the course in a separate browser window. Click this button to add a course to your My Plan page to take at a later time. Click this button to download a course to your PC, so you can take it offline. The first time you choose this link, you will be prompted to install the SkillSoft Course Manager (SCM) to manage your offline course content. Once the SCM is installed clicking this link will launch the SCM and enable you to download content. Click this button to display a list of related Job Aids and SkillBriefs. Click this button to access the online evaluation form associated with this course. (An Evaluation has to be created and assigned to the course(s) in order for the link to appear) A SkillSoft Course is web-based instructional content delivered to you on your computer. During the course you practice and are assessed on your mastery of skills and knowledge learned in the course. Instructional content includes business skills and information technology courses. The following course types are available on SkillPort: Business Skills courses, e3 courses, and Classic courses A SkillSoft Course is web-based instructional content delivered to you on your computer.     Mark this question for review Submit your answer Display status page End this test When you click the Start Test button on the main test page, you are presented with a series of questions, each of which you answer in turn. There are six question types, any or all of which may be included in a particular test When you answer a question, click the Done button to submit your answer. After you click Done the button you will receive feedback telling you whether your answer is correct, incorrect, or partially correct. If you do not answer a question, it is marked as incorrect. Click Next to take the following question. Use the button Previous to review the questions that you have already answered. Note that you cannot change any of your answers during a test session. Once the test has ended, however, you may choose to retake those questions that you did not answer correctly. If you do not want to answer the question immediately but want to return to it after answering some other questions, click the Mark for review button. You can click the Status button at any time to review your progress on the status page. When you click the Next button after you have received feedback for the last question in the test, a message is displayed indicating that the test is ending, after which you are returned to the main test page where you can view your test score. Viewing the status page The status page indicates the progress that you have made in a course or topic test and is accessed by clicking the Status button on the main test page or on any of the test question pages. Note: Once you have completed a test, you can view your progress by clicking the Review Previous Test button. Exiting a test When you have answered the last question in a test and clicked the Done button to receive feedback, clicking the Next Question icon causes a message to display, indicating that the test will now end. You are then returned to the main test page where you can see your test progress. If you want to exit a test before the end, click the Exit Test button. Progress for any questions that you have attempted will be returned to your learning management system. Any questions that you have not completed will be recorded as incorrect.     Chat with Mentors Send email to Mentor You can access mentor support by selecting a link from the course summary page or from the Ask My Mentor button in the e3 Player screen. You are then taken to the Ask My Mentor page, where you have a choice of entering into a Chat or sending a question to your mentor via email. You can also access mentoring through special mentoring objects which appear in the Certification View of the Catalog and in SEARCH-and-LEARN in the same way as other trackable learning events. You can access mentor support by selecting a link from the course summary page or from the Ask My Mentor button in the e3 Player screen. You are then taken to the Ask My Mentor page, where you have a choice of entering into a Chat or sending a question to your mentor via email. You can also access mentoring through special mentoring objects which appear in the Certification View of the Catalog and in SEARCH-and-LEARN in the same way as other trackable learning events.
