  2. Introduction • Jesus, disciples, child • Continuation of Matthew 18:1-6

  3. Culture Review • Evil Eye • Right side of body (more important) • Hell – a place of mental anguish and disconnect from God

  4. Stumbling blocks • Definition - an action or circumstance that leads one to act contrary to a proper course of action or set of beliefs, temptation to sin,enticement to apostasy, false belief, etc. • Spiritual definition - Question of doubt about Jesus • Any action that causes a question of doubt is a stumbling stone

  5. Eyes and Hands • Eyes – cause us to want (the magic container story) • Hands – body part that carries out what the eye wants • Eyes & hands can sin

  6. For us Today • Beware of your desires and actions • Children learn from adults (the cursing/swearing story) • Children are like clay that God wants molded into righteousness
