  2. PERIMENOPAUSEPhysiopathologie • Vieillissement des ovaires, diminution des follicules • Diminution de la sensibilité de l’axe hypothalamo-hypophysaire • Raréfaction de la sécrétion ovarienne de progestérone et d’oestrogène • Augmentation de FSH avec une hyperoestrogénie relative CMS 2004

  3. PERIPENOPAUSESignes Cliniques • Raréfaction des ovulations Cycles irréguliers • Insuffisance progestéronique et hyperoestrogénie relative Pathologie utérine, mastoses • Carence oestrogénique Symptômes climatériques CMS 2004

MENOPAUSE CONFIRMEE • Absence de sécrétion lutéinique et extinction du capital folliculaire • Les follicules ne répondent plus à la stimulation hypophysaire • FHS augmenté • Persistance des androgènes ovariennes • Age survenue en fonction de : -l’hérédité, plus précoce en cas de tabagisme, plus tardif chez les femmes obèses CMS2004
