  2. Prefects What does a prefect do? Each prefect has different duties (jobs).

  3. A prefect should be… • Helpful • Responsible • Kind • Well behaved • A good example

  4. Prefects check the corridors Prefects check the classrooms to make sure that no one is hiding inside!

  5. Prefects help other students to line up properly Prefects help lower form students to open water bottles

  6. Prefects take students to the office if they are hurt or feel unwell Prefects take students go to the classroom during recess if they forget something

  7. Get voting! Soon, you will vote for new prefects. ‘Vote’: choose your favourite person

  8. Who should you vote for? This week, you met ten students who want to be prefects. Remember, you can vote for three students only!

  10. Angel (P.2) I want to know- Do they help lower form students?

  11. I want to know- Are they a good example for other students? Do they have good behaviour in the classroom? Katrina (P.1)

  12. Who should you vote for? It’s important to vote carefully. You should think about how the prefects can help at school and how they can help you, too. Don’t vote for a student just because they give you candy. It’s not a good idea!
