  1. ESD Customer- Eligible for TXIX Jan. 1 Jan. 2 Jan. 3 Jan.7 Jan. 11 Feb.21 Feb.23 Feb.26 Feb.26 Referral made to the CME. TCM is assigned to case. TCM makes a visit to the customer’s home and completes the UAI, ESD Worksheet, ESD service agreement, CSW & POC. UAI and POC is data entered into KAMIS, start date for POC is established. TCM send NOA, CSW, POC to provider/Customer Services start. TCM contacts SRS/ Ct. to see if TXIX application has been made. Close case if TXIX application has not been made. Notification from SRS, customer has TXIX eligibility. TCM data enters Medicaid number into ESD work list on KAMIS. KDOA approves POC within 3 days or 10 days for CCE. TCM sends NOA out for a 1-7-07 HCBS/FE start date for services. ESD Customer- Ineligible for TXIX Jan. 1 Jan. 2 Jan. 3 Jan.7 Jan. 11 Feb.21 Feb.23 Feb.23 Feb. 28 Referral made to the CME. TCM is assigned to case. UAI and POC is data entered into KAMIS, start date for POC is established. TCM send NOA, CSW, POC to provider/ Customer Services start. TCM contacts SRS/ Ct. to see if TXIX application has been made. Close case if TXIX application has not been made. Notification from SRS, customer does not have TXIX eligibility. TCM data enters end date of services And pro-rates POC. TCM sends NOA out closing services. CME Processes Provider billings for ESD services. TCM makes a visit to the customer’s home and completes the UAI, ESD Worksheet, ESD service agreement, CSW & POC. Current Process of Customers Applying for Medicaid Eligibility Feb. 27 Jan. 1 Jan. 3 Jan. 7 Feb. 22 Mar. 1 Feb. 25 Jan. 6 Feb. 21 Referral made to SRS for Medicaid application. Referral made to CME. TCM is assigned to case. TCM makes a visit to the customer’s home and completes the UAI. CSW and POC are developed. Medicaid application completed and turned into SRS. (SRS has up to 45 days to process application.) SRS determines Medicaid eligibility and notifies TCM. CME data enters UAI and POC into KAMIS for a 3/1 start date. (KDOA has 72 hours for level I and 10 days for Level II or III POCs.) KDOA approves the POC with a 3/1 start date. TCM sends the NOA, CSW, POC opening the case to the customer and provider. Provider starts services.
