  4. TRANSFER OF THE ASSOCIATEOF ARTS DEGREE • Passed by IHL Board in March 2010 • Stemmed from the work of the Graduation Rate Task Force in 2009 • CJC agreed upon common minimum 30-hour core curriculum

When students transfer to an IHL institution from a Mississippi community/junior college, IHL institutions will use the Articulation Agreementbetween the Mississippi Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning and the Mississippi State Board for Community and Junior Colleges to articulate the transfer of courses. • Work is being done to create a Common Freshman and Sophomore Curriculum across IHL institutions for each of the Top Ten Most Wanted Majors.
