Droseraceae • Leaves: alternate or basal, • simple, stipulate or estipulate • Glabrous hairs ( for grabbing insects) or hinged clasping • Flowers: perfect, regular, sepals 4-5 distinct or connate, petals 4-5 distinct, stamens 4-20 distinct, carpels 3-5 connate, ovary superior to half inferior with 1 locule and several ovules
