  2. Access it from the Library’s webpage LGHS website Library Digital Resources NoodleTools Refer to the pink password handout for the appropriate credentials

  3. Choose your Personal ID • Recommendations: • Use First Initial and Last Name as ID • Write down your password so you don’t forget it These are required

  4. Complete your Profile Recommendation: add your Google Drive account (if you have one) That will allow you to use Google Drive to edit your papers directly from NoodleTools

  5. Your NoodleTools is ready You can start a new project!

  6. Name Your Project • Recommendations: • Use “MLA” for citation style • Use “Advanced” for citation level • Use a clear description to name your project (see the example)

  7. The Project Dashboard • Recommendations: • Use the most important question that your research will try to answer • State the thesis that you will use on your project

  8. Sharing and Collaborating • Recommendations: • Do not turn public access on • Use Sharing to grant your teacher access to your project and turn it in • Use Collaboration to add the members of your group so they may see and edit your project

  9. Sharing Your Project with your Teacher • Your teacher will provide you the AssignmentDrop Box • Check here to share your Google Docs paper (if you are using it for the project)

  10. Other Features of Your Project’s Dashboard The Works Cited feature will help you create the correct MLA citations Notecards & Outline will help you organize your ideas and structure your project Clicking on Paper will bring up your paper in Google Docs for editing Use your To Do List to keep track of your deadlines and divide tasks among group members Your teacher’s comments will be shown here
