  2.  In 2016, Microsoft introduced .NET Core 1.0 and ASP.NET Core 1.0. In addition to being open source, .NET Core runs on three major platfor?s — Wi?dows, Linux and macOS.  In 2017, Microsoft launched version 2.0 of .Net Core and ASP.NET Core.  The updated version of .Net Core allows developers to access a set of new class libraries and over 2000 new APIs through .NET Standard 2.0.

  3.  Microsoft has been updating Visual Studio regularly to complement the latest versions of .NET technologies.  The updated version of visual studio enables programmers to build a variety of software applications by targeting large and small devices. The developers can further accelerate .NET-based software development by availing a number of third-party tools and frameworks.  Syncfusion has developed Essential Studio as a .NET-based software product. Unlike Visual Studio, Essential Studio is not an integrated development environment (IDE).  Also, it is not designed as a plug-in for Visual Studio. But Essential Studio complements Visual Studio and Improved quality of .NET applications by providing over 800 controls and frameworks.
