  3. Title III Year 4 Pilot • CDE collaboration with CA CC • CDE allocated $1.8 million • CA CC on-line process • Lead COEs in each of 11 Regions

  4. Title III Year 4 Technical Assistance • Forums & Webinars • Regional COE Lead Roles • Refer to Handout • LEA Team Participants • On-Line Action Plan reviewed by COE and CDE

  5. Title III Year 4 Goal:Develop an Action Plan • Conduct Needs Assessment • In-depth data analysis • Gather results and team input • Use Inquiry Process • ELSSA Required at LEA level • EL-SLT (School Level Tool) • EL Student Shadowing

  6. Action Plan ShallIdentify Modifications • Identify 4+ Areas of Focus • Action Steps/Persons Responsible/Establish Timeline • Financial allocations • System of Monitoring Implementation

  7. On-Line Website • All Guidance documents and instructions • Archived Webinars • ALL materials from Forums in PDF • Research-based summaries

  8. On-Line Format • Submit ELSSA, Needs Assessment, other tools • Submit draft, final, and progress reports • COE & CDE comments • Discussion groups

  9. Anticipated Results • Implementation of modifications • District wide achievement of AMAOs • Increased proficiency levels for EL students
