  2. Invitations Pre Projects Day: • Sent in May to sponsor liaisons, faculty, advisory committees, alumni (2002 – 2013), parents • You invite employers, family and friends • Invitation and schedule will be e-mailed and is online at www.seattleu.edu/projectcenter

  3. Presentation at Sponsor Pre Projects Day: • Schedule presentations at sponsor organization • Have liaison check presentation for any confidential company information / nondisclosure • Invite us to attend!

  4. Display Boards Pre Projects Day: • Use templates – e-mailed to you – also on Project Center website • Submit display board files by Friday, May 23rd @ 4 pm to faculty advisor • Display boards and nametags will be pre-positioned on tables for you • You bring added display items to set up the morning of Projects Day

  5. Table Display Setup Pre Projects Day: • Teams supply own equipment • Teams arrange for transportation of equipment on Projects Day • Teams get one 8’ table and power strip • Teams requiring additional space or special electrical for their displays must e-mail requests to Arielle by May 30th

  6. Project Reports Pre Projects Day: • Due Wednesday, May 28th by 4 pm to faculty advisor • Follow department guidelines • Include completed print request on Reprographics form with numbers of copies and pages needed in color or odd size (be conservative!)

  7. YOUR REPORT IS YOUR DELIVERABLE! • Ask your project sponsor if they want a hard and/or electronic copy of the report before the due date. • YOUare responsible for delivering your project report to your sponsor !!! • This is part of your final checkout process

  8. Projects Day Presentations Pre Projects Day: • Presentations: 15 min., plus 5 min. for Q&A • Presentation on USB / CD • Practice in the room • Coordinate with Project Coordinator to reserve practice time • SU laptops will be pre-positioned the morning of Projects Day in presentation rooms • PC-friendly version of file presentation must be loaded on laptop no later than 10 am on Projects Day

  16. Projects Day Morning • Sullivan Hall will be open at 8 am • Displays must be ready by 11 am • Guest registration begins – 11:45 am

Projects Day Schedule • Welcome to Projects Day: 12:30 – 12:40 PM • Presentation Session 1: 12:45 – 1:45 PM • Break: 1:45 – 2:00 PM • Presentation Session 2: 2:00 – 3:00 PM • Break: 3:00 – 3:15 PM • Presentation Session 3: 3:15 – 4:15 PM • Poster Session: 4:15 – 5:00 PM • Be at your table – there will be passed appetizers • Reception from 5:00 – 6:00 PM • Mingle with guests and sponsors • One team member must be at your table at all times

  18. Projects Day Details • Eat lunch beforehand! • Professional attire • Guest parking in the 12th Ave and E Marion lot (P7)– first come, first serve • Overflow in P4 and Broadway Garage (P5) • Name tags will be on team tables • Reception – Be a host to your sponsors

  19. Clean Up • Take everything except your display board • Your team must clean up all project materials and put away your table! – Stack them on the table carrier

  20. After Projects Day • Equipment purchased by the Project center should be returned to Project Center staff • Reimbursement requests to Arielle Fissmer (Dean’s Office, E-500) • CSSE to Mike Smith (ENGR -526) • Provide summer mailing address • Project Room clean up and check-out by June 13th at 4 pm (checklist)
