  8. Grades • Passing grades: A, B, C, D = .5 credit per semester • Failing Grades: F = 0 credit

  9. Semester vs. Quarter Grades The semester grades are the only grades on your transcript, and will be the only grades that will go into the GPA. Semester grades factor in how you did during each quarter as well the results of your final test each semester

  10. Grade Point Average • GPA –Average of grade points earned for total classes completed. • Class Rank – Your numerical placement in relation to other students in your class based on your cumulative GPA.
