  3. Acting Class with Ms. Benacquista will be after school on Tuesday in Room 103.

  4. Chess News • Today OC Queens play at Vincentian Academy • The players have a 2:15 early release. • Thurs: The OC Queens host Gateway at 3:00.

  5. Anyone interested in volunteering at Schenley Gardens this coming Wednesday, Feb. 6th, please stop by the campus ministry office to sign up.   • We'll be making Valentines with the residents and helping out with "mini-manicures."  

  6. All students who went to Sacred Heart school or who belong to Sacred Heart parish, please come to the office after announcements.  

  7. COME OUT AND SUPPORT THE FBLA SPIRIT NIGHTAT CHICK-FIL-AMONROEVILLEON THURSDAY, FEB. 74:00 – 7:00 pm

  8. Congratulations to the PJAS first place award winners! • Alex De Lazio • Maria De Renzo • Colleen Doyle  • Claire Ozelek • Megan Wasson • These girls will represent our school at the State Competition in May!

  9. PJAS special award winner and perfect score winner Colleen Doyle received a Perfect Score and the Bayer Excellence Award Congratulations, Colleen!

  10. Special award winner at PJAS • Megan Wasson- three special awards • 6 year Perseverance Award • Pittsburgh Section of the American Chemical Society Award for Excellence in Chemistry and Biochemistry • Carnegie Mellon University Chapter of Sigma Xi High School Award. Congratulations, Megan!

  11. There will be a short but mandatory Turbo Jam Club meeting after school on Monday, February 4th.   It will be from 3:00-3:30pm at the latest; it may end sooner if everyone can show up on time!  Tell your friends!

  12. OC Softball • There will be a brief informational meeting on Monday, February 4 in room 203 after school. • Open Gym Dates – Tuesday, February 5 and Monday, February 11. • There will be conditioning immediately after school and gym time following. • See Mr. Kornosky for more information.

  13. There will be a MAPS meeting directly after school in the study area on Wednesday.

  14. Students may pick up Semester I Art work between February 1 – February 8. • You will find the work on the table outside the lecture hall. • Any work not claimed by the end of the day of February 8 will not be available.

  15. Freshman volleyball will begin on Monday February 11th.  See Mrs. Haslett or Mrs. Bielich to sign up and receive information.
