  2. WHAT IS CARBON FOOTPRINT. Carbon footprint is the amount of carbon you produce in everyday life. The size of your of your footprint depends on the range of different activities you do like buying things, food you eat, how you travel, the amount of electricity you use and many more. My footprint size is 2.87 which seems to more be on mobiles and cameras. A friend of mine has 3.80 footprint size which is more on travelling. The difference between these footprint sizes shows that people have different footprint sizes and different reasons behind them.

  3. HOW YOU CAN DECREASE YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT SIZE. To reduce your footprint size you need to do these: • Turn off TV and computer at the socket after use [don’t have on standby mode]. • Recycle papers, bottles, plastic bags and more. • Rest and have healthy food for a healthy life. • Heaters are not always needed dress warm. • Buy things you really need not for the sake of it e.g. mobiles, cameras, computers etc. • Turn off the light if you going out of a room. • Don’t over charge your phone and off the socket after charging.

  4. FOOTPRINT SIZES ARE HIGHER IN MEDC. I think the carbon footprint size of a person in the united kingdom should be more higher than that of a person in Ghana. The reason for this is because united kingdom is a more economically developed country [MEDC] and in MEDCs they have more technologies, more electricity and money. From what I know about carbon footprints I have been able to figure out that more technologies, money and electricity cause higher footprint sizes.
