14U Texas Jokers Tryouts

1. Don’t let the name fool you! We are looking for Elite/Premier level players for the Fall of 2011. Texas Jokers 14U will be coached by Isis Barron-Hutchinson and Maria Woods. Coach Woods has over 12 years playing experience including 2 collegiate years and coaches for a High School Varsity Softball team. Coach Barron-Hutchinson has not only played 3 years at a collegiate level but has over 7 years coaching experience with High School Varsity Softball and 18-Gold tournament team. Since 2009, she has had 16 players commit to play at a collegiate level; schools including, but not limited to: Baylor, MIT, Yale, Blinn College, Southwestern University, University of Dallas, Trinity University, and St. Mary’s University The immediate goal of the 14u team will be to TEACH the girls how to play ball the RIGHT way and will include everything from TRUE fundamentals of hitting, fielding and pitching to the psychological advantages of the game. This team will focus on taking your skills to the next level.
