  9. What would you assume about these testimonies?

  10. What would you assume about these testimonies? • Witness 1: I stayed late after school to make up a test. My mom just texted me to say that she was here to pick me up so I cut through the school building to get to the parking lot. I heard yelling coming from Mr. Salazar’s room and then Mr. Seals came running out of the room in a charcoal shirt and it looked like he was holding something in his hand. • Witness 2: I’m a new parent at UCA and I was meeting with Mr. Salazar when a Mexican looking guy came in the room, and started cussing out Mr. Salazar. They started shoving each other and the Mexican guy punched Mr. Salazar in the face and stole his wallet off his desk. He told me to keep my mouth shut and ran out of the room.

  11. What would you assume about these testimonies? • Witness 3: I was doing my security patrol and I saw a shorter guy running across the quad. I tried to chase him down in my golf cart but he ran like the wind. He took a wad of money out of a wallet and threw the wallet at my cart. I ended up giving up on the pursuit but I heard him yell “Pinoy na pinoy!” I think he might have been Filipino or something. • Witness 4: My friend Chris needed a ride and told me to wait for him in the north parking lot. When he came around a corner he was wearing his favorite gray shirt and was yelling something in in some other language. He seemed nervous and was winded, but he calmed down right away and said “Let’s get some fro yo. I’ve got some cash.”

  18. It is the "belief that the Bible is completely trustworthy as a guide to salvation and the life of faith and will not fail to accomplish its purpose.

  19. Reliability: • Inerrancy and infallibility aside, we are searching out a much more modest claim: • Are the eyewitness accounts of the Gospels reliable? Can we believe the stories they contain? • They are messy • They display eyewitness variability • They are unharmonized
