  7. Our Approach We work on the root cause of the problem. Anything that happens has two parts: the cause and the effect. If any problem arises, we have got to work on the cause of the problem. In TQM (Total Quality Management) the most useful tool for identifying the causes of problems is cause-and-effect diagram also known as a fishbone or Ishikawa diagram, name after the Japanese quality expert who popularised the concept. The cause is WHY it happens. The effect is WHAT happens. Through our training mechanism, we enable our participants to solve problems on their own by applying cause and effect methodology.
