  2. 1.4 Analysis of the basic curricular structures in secondary education • The product should contain: • The situation of secondary education by country, region, and hemisphere: Types of study plans, indicators of terminal efficiency, pertinence of the relationship to the needs of the productive sector, insertion into labor market, salary levels, participation of private educational sector and private business sector, budgets assigned to the secondary education • Advances in the adoption of the model of competencies: use of standards, curricular design, evaluation, and certification of competencies • Activities (future plans) to improve the secondary systems

  4. 1.4 Analysis of the basic curricular structures in secondary education Guidelines continued: Means • Permanent communication with the national coordinators of the countries that integrate the sub region • Previous videoconference with the participation of other specialists, with the objective to harmonize the structure of the reports by sub region • On site meetings with other specialists in the sub region to structure the final version of the document • Regular meetings with the sub regional coordinator to present progress in results and receive additional orientation and feedback. • Hemispheric videoconference when the sub regional reports are finished to structure the final hemispheric report

Activity 1.5 Analysis and systematization of the lessons learned in each sub region The product should contain: • Description of the national experiences and global analysis of the sub region • In the case you received technical assistance, indicate from where and (bilateral, multilateral , or from independent experts or institutions) and describe. • Bibliographic references
