  1. Direct Marketing Vs Direct Mail There has been a lot of confusion surrounding direct marketing and direct mail marketing. Although they seem exactly close in reality they are not. Their purpose is the same, both direct marketing and direct mail marketing is divided by a fine line. We are going to discuss this here. What is direct marketing? Direct marketing is a long and length definition but we are going to stick to the shorter one! It is a combined approach of advertising and marketing to target a specific audience group. The main purpose of direct marketing is to influence the audience to take a desirable action. Communication for marketing is always direct and can be done through various mediums or marketing channels. The effectiveness of direct marketing campaigns can be measured with the help of results to improve it in the future. What is direct mail? Direct mail marketing on the other hand is the marketing of certain products or services through any form of printed promotional advertising materials that are sent to a pre-determined recipient’s address (Residential/Work). Direct Marketing is the determine of direct mail marketing In a family circle, direct marketing will be the head and direct mail as another member. This is due to the fact direct mail is just one channel of marketing option that is available to firms to work on.
