  3. School Calendar • School Hours • M,T,TH,F 8:15-3:25 • W 8:15-2:25 • Absences • Tardies • State Mandates Attendance

  4. Safety • Car tags • Waivers/Requests • Carpool (PTO) • Taxi/Transportation Guidelines Transportation

  5. Students are allowed to enter the building at 7:55 am (all year) • Drop off occurs between 7:55 am – 8:10 am • Car Line Drop off/Arrival (Rachel)

  6. Pick up/Dismissal Procedures (See Maps) • 3:30 pm (M, T, Th, Fr) 2:30 (Wed) Pick up/Dismissal

Health Clerk available from 10 am – 2 pm • Office Staff trained to provide general First Aid • Health Concerns Form • Health Action Plans (If needed) • Medication Forms: (If needed) • Prescribed Medications AND • Over the counter medications • BOTH need a doctor’s order • All medications MUST be checked into the office by a legal guardian (Students may not be in possession of any medications including cough drops) Health/ Medical

  9. Caravan Kids Catering • $3.00 lunch, $.40 milk • Pay through SchoolView • Menu/Order process • Free/Reduced (40¢) Lunch application Lunch Service Option

  10. Web-based program that provides Paideia families access to: • Report Cards • Health Records • Attendance • Student Schedule • FeePay • Discipline Records • Personal Information • Demonstration available at Back to School Event SchoolView Access

  11. TxtWire Texts to Cell Phones • Phone/Voicemail • Emails • Parent/Teacher Conferences • Website • School Closings announced on local TV networks School Communications

  12. Limited to 24 students • $3120 paid in 10 monthly installments of $312 OR • $3000 paid in one lump sum • Financial assistance may be available Kindergarten Enrichment

  13. Back to School Event July 31st 2:00-7:00 • First Day of School August 5th 8:15 • Curriculum Night August 15th 6:30 • Monthly Monday Morning Meetings – August 5th 8:15 Upcoming Events

  14. 50 Hours of Volunteer Service/Year/Family • Background checks required • Volunteer opportunities will be communicated by Paideia Staff or PTO and must be approved by Paideia Staff • Examples include: • Field Trip Chaperones • Classroom Helpers • Office Support Volunteering

  15. YMCA: Before and After School care • Opens at 6:30 am, Closes at 6:00 pm • Available During Breaks YMCA School Age Care

  16. Meeting Nights: 1st Tuesday of the month • Role in the school: Fundraising & Community Building • Staff Support • Ways to get involved PTO
