  1. Ms. Hanlin’s Techy Tigers Week of: September 9, 2013 What We’re Learning Dear Parents, This week we are continuing to use our iPads to enhance our learning. We will be creating a book and exploring websites that will be used throughout the year. You will be receiving ways to view your child’s progress on these sites with different parent letters from the program. Please check out our class website which will be updated with helpful websites and information about things being learned in class. Reading: Wolf! Compare and contrast, questioning Writing: Greatest Grandparent, 5 step writing process Math: Finish Topic 1, mental math, properties Science: inquiry quiz, life cycles, habitats and adaptations Social Studies SC Regions, Rivers, Regions book Upcoming Events Proud to be an American Week, Math test Tuesday, Spelling test Thursday, Reading Test Friday, Social Studies and Science Quiz Friday MAP TESTING BEGINS THIS WEEK!
