21. 19And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

23. 20And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood. 20เมื่อรับประทานแล้ว จึงทรงหยิบถ้วยกระทำเหมือนกันตรัสว่า “ถ้วยนี้ซึ่งเทออกเพื่อท่านทั้งหลายเป็นคำสัญญาใหม่ โดยโลหิตของเรา”

24. 21But behold, the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table. 21แต่ดูเถิด มือของผู้ที่จะอายัดเราไว้ก็อยู่กับเราบนโต๊ะ

30. 33But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

32. 34And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

40. 5Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him. 5แล้วก็ทรงเทน้ำลงในอ่าง และทรงเอาน้ำล้างเท้าของพวกสาวก และเช็ดด้วยผ้าที่ทรงคาดเอวไว้นั้น

41. 6He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, do you wash my feet?” 6พระองค์ทรงมาถึงซีโมนเปโตร และเปโตรทูลพระองค์ว่า “พระองค์เจ้าข้า พระองค์จะทรงล้างเท้าของข้าพระองค์หรือ”

42. 7Jesus answered him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand.” 7พระเยซูตรัสตอบเขาว่า “สิ่งที่เรากระทำในขณะนี้ท่านยังไม่รู้เรื่อง แต่ภายหลังท่านจะเข้าใจ”

43. 8Peter said to him, “You shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.” 8เปโตรทูลพระองค์ว่า “พระองค์จะทรงล้างเท้าของข้าพระองค์ไม่ได้” พระเยซูตรัสตอบเขาว่า “ถ้าเราไม่ล้างท่านแล้ว ท่านจะมีส่วนในเราไม่ได้”

44. 9Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!” 9ซีโมนเปโตรทูลพระองค์ว่า “พระองค์เจ้าข้ามิใช่แต่เท้าของข้าพระองค์เท่านั้น แต่ขอทรงโปรดล้างทั้งมือและศีรษะด้วย”

45. 10Jesus said to him, “The one who has bathed does not need to wash, except for his feet, but is completely clean. And you are clean, but not every one of you.” 10พระเยซูตรัสกับเขาว่า “ผู้ที่อาบน้ำแล้วไม่จำเป็นต้องชำระกายอีก ล้างแต่เท้าเท่านั้น เพราะสะอาดหมดทั้งตัวแล้ว พวกท่านก็สะอาดแล้วแต่ไม่ใช่ทุกคน”

46. 11For he knew who was to betray him; that was why he said, “Not all of you are clean.”11เพราะพระองค์ทรงทราบว่าใครจะอายัดพระองค์ไว้ เหตุฉะนั้นพระองค์จึงตรัสว่า “ท่านทั้งหลายไม่สะอาดทุกคน”

47. 12When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, “Do you understand what I have done to you?

48. 12เมื่อพระองค์ทรงล้างเท้าเขาทั้งหลายแล้ว พระองค์ก็ทรงฉลองพระองค์ และประทับลงตรัสกับเขาว่า “ท่านทั้งหลายเข้าใจ ในสิ่งที่เราได้กระทำแก่ท่านหรือ

49. 13You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am. 13ท่านทั้งหลายเรียกเราว่าพระอาจารย์และองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ท่านเรียกถูกแล้ว เพราะเราเป็นเช่นนั้น

50. 14If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. 14ฉะนั้นถ้าเราผู้เป็นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า และพระอาจารย์ของท่านได้ล้างเท้าของพวกท่าน พวกท่านก็ควรจะล้างเท้าของกันและกันด้วย
