  8. Schedule Walkthrough Thursday, March 14 • Citizenship Sendoff Workshop – Students reflect on what they have learned • White House (Photo-Op) • National Archives Study Visit • Smithsonian Museum Visit and Lunch • Fly to Houston

Supervisionand Security • Night monitors at each hotel throughout the night. • Program Instructors have 140+ hours of training, certified in CPR/First Aid, undergone criminal background checks, with students at all times when exploring sites. • Detailed schedule has all pertinent numbers, addresses, etc. • Close Up name tag with emergency hotline number • Partnership with Georgetown Medical Center, plus a “Student Needs Assistant” to help with sick students.

Price and What’s Included • Total student price is $1755, which includes… • Airfare from Houston (excluding baggage fees) • Academic materials and instruction • Hotel accommodations • Three meals per day starting with dinner on Sunday, ending with lunch on Thursday. • All in-town DC/Philadelphia transportation • 24-hour supervision including night monitors • All admission fees • Tips/Gratuities • Secondary medical coverage and access to Georgetown University Medical Center • Close Up souvenir backpack, water bottle, and group photo • Travel insurance is optional but STRONGLY encouraged

Important Dates/Deadlines • $400 deposit (non-refundable) is due no later than November 27, 2018. • ALL deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable when made. • Final payment due no later than January 24, 2019 • Cancellations after January 24 result in a 100% cancellation penalty. • Payments can be made online. • Limited financial aid based on financial need (free/reduced lunch) is available. • Close Up is a 501(c)(3) organization…donations can be tax- deductible.
