Meeting Minutes November 2, 2004 • Net Materials • FY05 Net Materials submitted 1st quarter +6.4%, up 1.2% from financial review +5.2% due to steel, +$6.7M impact • FY05 reverse auction plan – $13.0M • Effective November 9, we will review weekly, be prepared to discuss your auctions • Consolidate Finish Goods Planning into Rosemont • Establish FY05 inventory plan for finished goods – meeting November 5 • Map out new sop process & review consignment program w/ Finance • Contact Management - Review open item list weekly • Change what prints on PO's, testing templates, rollout by end of September, pushed out to November • MIS Issues • Monthly MIN corrections of missing supplier codes to be sent to Steven – Next feed November 10 • Min Freight Terms, Port Codes, Title Transfer, Validate Clause Codes – Traci Grever to manage input for November 10, MIN submission • Correcting duplicate supplier codes – Michael Skrypek to follow up w/ Doug • Other Issues • Commodity review December 8, schedule reviewed for actions – no timing issues • Inflation model 5 year forecasts need to be updated CORRECTION, DUE November 12 • Everyone to update FY04 & FY05 travel tracking sheet by November 9

Milwaukee scrap auction, November • Fasteners • Fastener consolidation project –GMDC received drawings, data clean up due October 31 • Fastenal México – dead inventory list, need to cross with GMDC data • Move Birch Hill & Celina fasteners to Fastenal 7% savings – in process • Floyd Yang – absent • Working on 13 disa tools & Lexington 7 tools • Evaluating industrial lighting suppliers • Evaluating casting suppliers for Form 85 conduit bodies • Tom Yates • Auctions: • Glass – data gathered, auction in January • Sent Form 85 RFQ to China & India October 29 • Waiting revised Sigma Form 85 quote, late
