Priority Areas for Grant Program • Prevention of non-communicable disease burden for children and adolescents (tobacco, alcohol, obesity, legal and illegal drugs): intersectoralapproach, family involvement, negative industry's influence • Building transparent health care system: NGO participation, system of ratings, professional-general public, social media involvement • Health of migrants and health care provision for migrants: lessons learned in USA and Russia • Modern problems of public health, health and bioscience • Building skills and knowledge of health care providers and clients: NCD, epidemiology, global health, communication and counseling, rights.

  3. Priority Area #1 Prevention of non-communicable disease burden for children and adolescents (tobacco, alcohol, nutrition, legal and illegal drugs): intersectoralapproach, family involvement, negative industry's influence

  4. Deliverables Round table discussion on nutrition,tobacco, alcohol, legal and illegal drugs list the programs funded by tobacco, alcohol, “junk food” industry, Methods and techniques reviewing PSA and programs funded by tobacco and alcohol industry Experience, models and procedures of intersectoralcollaboration in public health Laws and regulations regarding food for children and adolescents including public control

  5. Priority Area #2 Building transparent health care system: NGO participation, system of ratings, professional-general public, social media involvement

  6. Deliverables Round table discussion on best methods and techniques of making HCS transparent Usage of the existing internet resources and related sites including MOHSD related work Publication of the research findings for the professional and general public Social media involvement Mobilizing NGOs

  7. Priority Area #3 • Health of migrants and health care provision for migrants: lessons learned in USA and Russia

  8. Deliverables Round table Researching health needs and health facilities for migrants Creating health screening for migrants Statement of principals on ethical obligation of HCP for health care provision for migrants

  9. Priority Area #4 • Modern problems of public health, health and bioscience

  10. Deliverables • Round table discussion on international best practices related to conflict of interest policy in health care to be followed by series of publications • Develop conflict of interest policy as applied to all actors including governmental and nongovernmental organizations (for instance health advocating and children related NGOs supported/ funded by tobacco or alcohol industry) • joint Russian-American report • Public health journal joint publications

  11. Priority Area #5 Building skills and knowledge of health care providers and clients: NCD, epidemiology, global health, communication and counseling, rights.

Deliverables Partnership projects on distance learning for HCPs on global health Training course on communication of HCP and clients Training for HCPs on clinical epidemiology (non-infectious diseases) Public health journals joint  publications Maintenance of certification Making system of qualification of health care professionals transparent
