Be sure to reflect and connect the three stages of presentations we discussed in class (Openings, Body, Closings) to the presentation of Case Study #4. Be prepared to share your thinking in small groups.

Course Objectives The aim of this course for the "Continuing Group of Leaders" is to build the capacity of teacher leaders to use coaching skills and effective facilitation strategies to support teachers, schools, and districts for implementation of the Wisconsin Common Core Standards in Mathematics. Specific course objectives include: • Develop leadership and coaching skills for supporting colleagues’ transition to the Common Core. • Acquire skills to plan and facilitate professional learning sessions on the Common Core. • Deepen mathematics content knowledge of the geometry standards and domain progressions of the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics.
