  1. Retired & Senior Volunteer Program of St. Mary’s County Providing Meaningful and Rewarding Volunteer Opportunities For Seniors 55+ Years of Age

  2. RSVP is part of Senior Corps, a national program for senior volunteers which includes the Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion Programs. • Senior Corps is funded and administered by the Corporation for National and Community Service, a federal agency headquartered in Washington, DC. • We report to the State Office of our federal funding agency in Baltimore. We also belong to the National Senior Corps Association and Maryland-Delaware RSVP Directors Association.

  3. Retired & Senior Volunteer Program • Our local RSVP Project has been sponsored for more than 30 years by the Department of Aging – now the Department of Aging & Human Services. • Throughout this entire time, we’ve enjoyed the support of the Commissioners of St. Mary’s County who provide matching local funds for our program. • Our County Commissioners also show their support by attending our annual RSVP Volunteer Appreciation Ceremony and Awards Banquet.
