Assessing (data) uncertainty • All types of objects and attributes • Probability models (for now) • Expert judgement and supporting (sample) data • User-friendly environment (structured interface) • 2. Propagating uncertainty • Uncertainties propagate through models • DUE uses ‘Monte Carlo simulation’ to assess this
