  3. How does the H1N1 virus spread from person to person? • The virus is passed from person to person by body secretions. • Nasal discharge • Coughing droplets • Sputum or saliva

  4. Don’t spread the virus • Sneeze or cough into a tissue, then throw the tissue away. Do not leave the tissue laying around. Throw the tissue away immediately. When you throw the tissue away clean your hands with the hand sanitizer.

  5. Don’t spread the virus • Sneeze or cough into the bend of your arm or into your shirt • Do not share drinks or food • Try to keep your hands to yourself

Don’t spread the virus • Stay home and don’t spread the virus • Stay home if….. • you are coughing a lot • you have a fever of 100 degrees or more • your sibling or parent is coughing or has a fever of 100 degrees or more • you are not feeling well and are overly tired • you know someone in your home has H1N1

  7. Don’t spread the Virus • Frequently wash your hands with soap and water • Frequently wash your hands with the sanitizer
