General Meetings • August Brunch • September – Technology Update • October – Cavalcade Music Read Through • November – Master Class with Jenny Flinders • January – Transitioning out of Method Books • February – (March 5) Jon Schmidt • March – Group Lessons: A Variety of Approaches • April Brunch ***Attending 4 meetings is required for Awards in Excellence

  3. MUSIC MARATHON Saturday, September 26th Registration is $7.00 per student due by September 1 • Superstition Springs Mall • Fiesta Mall • AZ Piano • Park Regency Retirement Center

  4. Original Composition Festival • November 21 & 22, 2009 • AZ Community Church • Registration $10.00 due by November 1st

  5. December Luncheon December 4th, 11:00 AM

  6. Cavalcade of Rhythm “Super Songwriters” with Jon Schmidt Saturday, March 6, 2010 Mountain View High School Registration is $7.00 per student due by November 20th

  7. Awards in Excellence • Auditions are April 10th • Winners’ Recital is April 17th • AZ Piano Company • See website for registration and qualifications-due Feb. 26th

  9. ACHIEVEMENT DAY • Saturday, May 15, 2010 • Mesa Community College • Registration is $5.00 for Standard/$7.00 for Expanded Composers Evaluations Sight Reading Tests

  11. AWARDS PLUS • Monday, May 17th, 2010 • AZ Community Church Devoted Performer - students who participated in 4 out of 5 DVMTA events for 3 of the past 5 years Senior Scholarship Award for qualifying seniors
