  2. ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Nefertiti was a great role-model for women in Egypt. She was the face of women’s rights and she showed Egypt that women can be powerful. • Nefertiti and her husband changed Egypt’s religion from polytheistic to monotheistic. They went from believing in many gods to believing in one, the sun god, Aten.

  4. DID YOU KNOW? • Nefertiti had 6 girls with her husband Akhenaten. • Her mother’s identity is still unknown to historians. • Nefertiti means ‘’ The beautiful one has come.”

  6. HERO OR VILLIAN? • Nefertiti is a hero because she represented women in a great way. She was one of the first Egyptian queens to hold as much power as she did.
