These idols or sculptors of god have always been sold in local markets. This practice has led to a lot of vendors creating these idols of god only to later realize that they aren’t they only ones who had this plan.

These idols or sculptors of god have always been sold in local markets. This practice has led to a lot of vendors creating these idols of god only to later realize that they aren’t they only ones who had this plan. This leads to stiff competition and puts pressure on these local artists to produce, market and sell their work. This means a lot of artists with less capacity for the same are left alone to fight their own fight.

  3. Luckily, we already have brands migrating to e-commerce in the religious side of the market. Brands like My Pooja Box have created a platform for shopping god idols online that have been sourced from these local artisans who had no access to the market before. Not only does this enable the small artisans to maintain a source of income, but also brings traditional arts and crafts to a much larger market. Thereby showcasing the work of our people.
