Association for Women Students • The Association for Women Students is an organization comprised of undergraduate students at Louisiana Tech University, the purpose of which are to provide leadership opportunities that enhance leadership skills for women, celebrate diversity and multi-culturalism among women students, and promote social, professional and educational networking among women students.

  4. Louisiana Tech University Women’s Center • The Women's Center contributes to the overall mission of the University by: • Helping to create an active, aware, affirming community for the University women • Providing a physical environment where issues of particular interest and benefits to women can be heard and examine • Offering services and programs to empower women to pursue and achieve self-developed goals • Creating a physical hub of communications and activities that fosters and enriches networking opportunities among all women • Serving as a resource center for University-recognized women's groups by accommodating meeting and program space

International Students Office • The Louisiana Tech University International Student Office (ISO) provides special services for international students, including immigration advising, orientation assistance, coordination of cultural and educational programs, and international undergraduate admissions. • Currently there are more than 450 international students from more than 55 countries studying at Louisiana Tech University

  6. International Students Office • The International Student Office and the International Student Association organizes different cultural and sporting events throughout the year. These events are aimed to provide a chance for the whole Tech community to come together and enjoy the rich and diverse cultural backgrounds of the International Students. These events lead to understanding and friendship between International and American students.

  8. Office of Multicultural Affairs • The Office of Multicultural Affairs challenges us to step outside of ourselves and open up to something new. This does not mean that you have to forget your own culture. Office of Disability Services • Policy • No qualified student or applicant for student status shall, on the basis of disability, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity which the University sponsors or operates. Benefits and services to the individuals with disabilities must be in the most integrated setting appropriate to the person’s needs and be equally as effective or equivalent to those provided to other university students.

LOUISIANA BOARD OF REGENTS2001-2002 INSTITUTIONAL REPORT FOR THE PREPARATION OF TEACHERS Student Characteristics of University: During Fall 2000, Louisiana Tech University had a total enrollment of 8,921 undergraduate and 1,442 graduate students. A total of 5,153 students were males and 5,210 were females. The majority of the students were from Louisiana with a total of 8,711 in-state students, 1,271 out-of-state students, and 381 foreign students. Among students enrolled in the undergraduate program, 1,292 were black, 6,901 were white, and 728 were other races. Among students enrolled in the graduate program, 204 were black, 867 were white, and 371 were other races.
