  1. 858 К святости стремися 1. Take time to be holy, Speak oft with thy Lord; Abide in Him always, And feed on His Word. 1. К святости стремися, В Боге пребывай, Бодрствуй и молися, Библию читай;

  2. Make friends with God’s children; Help those who are weak, Forgetting in nothing His blessing to seek. В мире будь со всеми, Слабых поддержи, Скинь заботы бремя, Господу служи!

  3. 2. Take time to be holy. The world rushes on; Spend much time in secret With Jesus alone. 2. К святости стремися, Всё пройдёт, как дым; За Христа держися, Следуй лишь за Ним;

  4. By looking to Jesus, Like Him thou shalt be; Thy friends in thy conduct His likeness shall see. Он велик и чуден В славе и борьбе, И познают люди Господа в тебе.

  5. 3. Take time to be holy, Let Him be thy Guide; And run not before Him, Whatever betide. 3. К святости стремися, За Христом иди, Сам не торопися К месту впереди.

  6. In joy or in sorrow, Still follow thy Lord, And, looking to Jesus, Still trust in His Word. В радости и в горе Торжествуй всегда, Не спуская взора С Господа Христа.

  7. 4. Take time to be holy, Be calm in thy soul; Each thought and each motive Beneath His control; 4. К святости стремися, Твёрдым будь душой; Радостно смирися Под Его рукой.

  8. Thus led by His Spirit To fountains of love, Thou soon shalt be fitted For service above. Так, водимый Духом, Ревностью горя, Перейдёшь ты к слугам Вечного Царя.
