  2. What is Balance? • Balance is like when you balance food or fruit on a food scale in the grocery store, its fun to do balance. You can also do balance by somebody bouncing on a pogo stick or by doing yoga. Well have you heard about equation. Well equation is equal because it kind of has the word equal. To solve a problem of balance you have to have an equal value. One example is:x4=8 Check-8=8 • X=2

  3. Algebra Vocabulary I am going to start by telling you what tools we use in Hands-on-Equations are the value cube and something that has 3 names,pawn,unknown,and X.

  6. What is Simplify? Simplify is when you want to make a problem easier

  7. What is an Equation? Well I am going to start by telling you how to solve a problem using X: 8+1x=9 X=1 Check=9=9
