  2. Here we are providing some information regarding Travel Insurance in Dubai, UAE due to the coronavirus emergency medical situation and international travel. With the increase of more coronavirus cases in countries across the globe, The World Health Organization has declared the Coronavirus as a global emergency. So all international travellers need to take care of their health and wellbeing.

  3. Before going to know about the travel insurance cover the Coronavirus or not, we need to know about a few things. When we're travelling, there are many things that can go against us by knowingly or unknowingly. The insurance companies divide these things into two types, Foreseen Event and Unforeseen Event.

  4. Foreseen Events A known event or foreseen event is something that happens to you or interrupts your travel trip that a normal person would have been aware of through the tv channels, newspapers, social media or public announcements, etc.

  5. Foreseen Event Examples: • Forecasted weather conditions. • Planned Airway strike. • Viruses declared as a global emergency. • Pre-Existing health issues.

  6. Unforeseen Events An unknown event or unforeseen event is something that happens to you or interrupts your travel trip that a normal person would have been not aware of. Simply Unforeseen circumstances are those that are outside your control.

  7. Unforeseen Event Examples: • An illness or injury happened during your travel. • Baggage or personal things lost during the trip. • Accidents occurred during travel. • Hijacked or kidnapped during your trip.

  8. Most of the insurance companies will not approve the claim for an “foreseen event” . Now Coronavirus has been announced as a global emergency by the World Health Organization and so it becomes a “foreseen event”. If anyone buys travel insurance after the announcement date generally insurance companies will not provide coverage related to that foreseen event.
