  2. CREATION OF A DATABASE • Over 4300 organisations. • Possibly one of the largest databases of youth organisations in the region.

  3. SERVICES • Partner Search Facility • Clearing House • Forum • Distribution of notifications • Support the Euro-Med Youth Programme

  4. RESEARCH ON YOUTH • As seen by young people. • Ongoing process. • Barcelona + 10 souvenir publication. • Useful for those working with a country for the first time. • Stimulate youth studies. • Available in print and on-line.

  6. TARGETED MEETINGS • Identification of countries with least participation in Euro-Med youth co-operation and addressing them. • March 04 Amman, Mediterranean countries. • October 04 Budapest, countries that just joined the Barcelona Process. • February 05 Tunis, European countries. • Follow up

  7. ADVOCACY WORK • Make sure that the voice of young people is taken into consideration. • Barcelona + 10 • Civil Forum • Non Governmental Platform • Euro-Med Parliamentary Assembly • Anna Lindh Foundation • Review of the Programme • European Movement

  8. VISIBILITY • Raising awareness on initiatives being taken by young people within the Barcelona Process. • Informing young people on the whole Process.

VISIBILITY • Participation in high visibility events, e.g. World Youth Festival and Follow the Women. • Magazine in 3 languages (Arabic, English and French) reaching authorities, Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Embassies, officials working on the Partnership, various EU officials, stake holders. • Writing articles in magazines and journals, interviews for radio and TV.

  11. Recognition The Ministers welcomed the successful implementation of ongoing programmes: ...the launching of the Euro-Med Youth Platform supporting dialogue between youth representatives and governments on policies for young people. Naples, December 2003

  12. Recognition Ministers noted the progress made: the launching of the Euromed Youth Platform for dialogue among representatives of youth organisations and the development of subsequent sub-regional meetings, such as the one that took place in Amman in March… Dublin, May 2004

  14. Recognition The Euro-Mediterranean Youth Platform held its 3rd Targeted Meeting from 25 to 28 February 2005, in Gammarth, Tunisia. This event aimed at increasing the participation of young people from EU countries least present in Euro-Med activities. Luxembourg, May 2005
